General Driving Lessons
Do you offer driving lessons for beginners?
Yes. Beginner lessons focus on safe habits, observation, steering, turns, lane changes, parking, speed control and confidence behind the wheel.
Do you teach nervous or anxious drivers?
Yes. Lessons can be paced gradually with clear instruction and focused practice based on the student's comfort and skill level.
Do you help international drivers?
Yes. We provide refresher and skills-based training for drivers who want to become more familiar with Ontario roads, traffic rules and local driving expectations.
Do I need my own car for lessons?
No. Driving lessons are provided in an instructor vehicle.
Do you offer refresher or highway lessons?
Yes. Refresher and highway training can cover confidence building, merging, lane changes, speed management, spacing, observation and defensive driving.
Beginner Driver Education (BDE)
Is Six Points Driving School MTO approved?
Yes. Six Points Driving School offers an MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education program in Ontario.
What does an approved BDE course include?
Ontario-approved BDE programs include at least 20 hours of classroom or digital instruction, 10 hours of in-vehicle training and 10 hours of flexible instruction time.
Can I start in-car lessons before finishing the online portion?
No. The classroom or digital portion must be completed before the in-vehicle portion begins.
How long do I have to complete BDE?
The full approved course must be completed within one year from the start of the classroom or digital instruction.
Can BDE let me take my first road test sooner?
Yes. Eligible graduates of a government-approved BDE course can reduce the G1 waiting period from 12 months to 8 months.
Does BDE guarantee an insurance discount?
No. Some insurers may offer a discount after successful completion of an approved BDE program, but the discount is determined by the insurance provider and is not guaranteed.
When is an instructor assigned?
For BDE students, the online portion must be completed first. Instructor assignment is then arranged after the required payment has been received and scheduling is available.
G2 Road-Test Preparation
Do you offer G2 road-test preparation in Etobicoke?
Yes. G2 preparation can focus on observation, lane positioning, turns, intersections, parking, speed control and test-day readiness.
How many lessons do I need before my G2 test?
There is no single number that fits everyone. The amount of training depends on your experience, current skill level, driving habits and confidence.
Can I use your car for my G2 road test?
Road-test vehicle service covers all DriveTest centres in Ontario. The price is quoted per request and varies by centre and travel distance. Pickup boundaries, waiting and travel charges depend on the centre and distance and are confirmed in the quote. Service is subject to instructor and vehicle availability.
What skills should I practice before the G2 test?
Important areas include observation, complete stops, lane changes, turns, speed control, parking, three-point turns and safe decision-making.
G Driving Lessons
Do you offer G road-test preparation?
Yes. G preparation can include highway driving, merging, lane changes, speed management, observation and defensive driving.
Are G lessons included in the Standard BDE package?
No. G driving lessons are separate from the Standard BDE package and can be arranged independently.
Can I book highway practice without a road-test package?
Yes. Individual G or refresher lessons can be arranged for drivers who mainly want highway practice or advanced skill development.
Pricing, Booking & Cancellations
Lesson times are flexible and arranged around your instructor's availability and yours, including early and late slots.
How much is a one-hour G2 lesson?
A one-hour G2 lesson is $55.00 plus HST, or $62.15 total.
How much is a one-hour G lesson?
A one-hour G lesson is $60.00 plus HST, or $67.80 total.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling a lesson.
What is your refund policy?
BDE Course Packages: No voluntary refunds will be issued after 30 days of registration with Six Points Driving School or after enrollment in the online learning program, whichever occurs first.
Refund requests made before this cutoff are subject to a $200 administration fee plus HST and deductions for services already provided.
Individual Driving Lessons: Approved refunds are subject to a $45 administration fee. Any completed lessons or applicable cancellation charges will be deducted.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days.

How far in advance should I book before my road test?
Book as early as possible because instructor and vehicle availability can become limited around popular test dates and times.
Service Area & Pickup
What area do you serve?
Our regular service area is Etobicoke.
Can I meet the instructor at a subway station?
Meeting arrangements such as Islington or Kipling subway station may be possible depending on the instructor, lesson schedule and training plan.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Pickup and drop-off arrangements may be available within Etobicoke, depending on your location, instructor availability and lesson schedule. Meeting at Islington or Kipling subway station may also be arranged. Please confirm your preferred location when booking.
What should I bring to my lesson?
Bring your valid Ontario driver's licence and wear footwear that allows you to operate the pedals safely and comfortably.
